Clean, elegant lines, and an uncluttered appearance in text and graphic layout focuses attention on the message to be communicated. The first step is to determine what your business type is, and what visual style and textual content would best present the online image you want to convey. Then, using pertinent information about your business (perhaps from your own hard copy brochure), and ideas and critical input from you, creative content writing and original, simple, yet elegant graphics are applied to produce your attractive online advertising brochure. I will then present the client with a free, preliminary view of what their brochure might look like. Brochures are limited to one page of most any length, but can include external links to other sites. An e-mail text link or image, by which potential or current customers can contact you, will be placed on your brochure. Extra features such as embedded midi music, customer input or feedback forms, RSS newsfeeds, and certain Javascript functions to include in your brochure are also available, and will be considered in the agreed upon price.
PricesThe cost of an Internet-ready brochure is charged by the job, rather than by the hour. Costs will generally run between $100 - $300 per brochure, depending on the complexity of design, and desired extras. These prices represent huge savings for you over the going hourly rates for web design which you can see here. The average brochure takes 25 hours or more to complete. Services will be performed primarly via e-mail and fax communication. After an initial, free telephone consultation to discuss your brochure, long distance (voice) telephone charges will be billed to the client. A 50% deposit is paid upon agreement of brochure specifications and price, and prior to actual start of the job. Getting
Your Brochure OnlineExtraordinary savings for your online brochure are also possible because I don't provide domain name and hosting services. You would be responsible for having, or setting up these services which cost as little as $10/yr. and $5/mo. for your URL and hosting, respectively. If you don't have your own domain name (or URL) or Web hosting service, I can advise you in obtaining these. Making
Your Online Presence KnownSubmission of your web page to the major search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc.) is one of the best ways to get people to see your brochure. As another free service, I will submit your online brochure's URL to those search engines. As with all small businesses, word-of-mouth can be powerful advertising. Tell your family and friends, and your current customers about your new online brochure. Include the URL (e.g., "http://www.momandpop.com") on your business cards, letterheads, yellow page listings, etc. Some of my recent
